4 I'm Feeling Kind of Wacky Moody- Mood board

Hi dear friends today I'm feeling a kind of way a bit moody! Yup you guessed it. I will like to share a mood-board I did. Now bare with me it’s a little bit crazy in I indicate the style is a bit wacky but so am I at times but just what are mood boards? Well they tell a story a story about what kind of mood you’re in rather it’s a color scheme or a feel you may be feeling.

I love mood boards because they allow you to put yourself in a place that is not built yet. It’s like dating before getting married with mood boards you can date the room before you buy it. Better yet you have the chance to see what that room looks like before you actually buy all the furniture in it.  Now a lot of what I do is what you call e-design an e-design is a bit different than a mood-board because I show you just what your actual room looks like in 3d form before you actually go shopping to purchase furniture and then I break it down for you into a mood board. Now friends how cool is it to know what your room will look like before you purchase a single thing? Wouldn’t it be fun knowing your making the right choice for your room before you make a decision on a sofa or chair that can be costly? Knowing what size sofa will fit in your room will keep you for making a costly mistake
Now Friends all these reason makes a good case for e-design but more important an e-design can cost much less than hiring an onsite Interior designer and guest what the deign can be just as good if accurate notes and measurements are taken from the e-designer beaus cause in some respect you help with doing some of the leg work the designer has to do when coming out to your home so in that what’s make e-design less costly. But enough chitchat let’s check out my wacky design mood while this isn’t an actual room I will be showing you in the weeks to come some real room e-designs I’ve done recently so here is my wacky mood board.
This is what I call my wacky mood board. Now check out how this mood board comes to life in e-design below.

This is the reason I call this room Wacky mood board but it was fin tho bring these colors together and watch it go from an mood board to a room in 3d form.

Friend’s thank you for checking out this Wacky mood board make sure to come back next time to see an actual room designed to scale  by me in e-design form and then you can see how your real room can look in actual room shape and your real room measurements.

0 Style Mood is Monochromatic

Monochromatic color schemes are based off of a single color. In my opinion a monochromatic color scheme- looks most interesting when different materials are used. Pairing monochromatic with different patterns and textures but all with the same underlined color with a subdued, sophisticated, and harmonious look brings monochromatic alive.

Sit back and enjoy the different flavors of Monochromatic.
Utilize a monochromatic color scheme in your bedroom too!! By featuring various patterns and textures. This guest room is mostly the one color of tan but with the pops of white it gives it the monochromatic flavor it needs. With the walls being tan and the headboard tan you would think it will be too much blending but that's not the case here because of the suede texture of the headboard. This monochromatic color is very fitting for a guest room

I love this purple living room, it’s so elegant, dramatic, chic and glamorous. A monochromatic color scheme is one in which a palette is used in varying shades of the same color. You can see all the shades of purple in this glam room just~ love, love, love it. To explain the silver it reflects the color pallet in the room which is the one color purple and that's what makes it monochromatic.

WOW!!! Look at the textures in this room !!! Monochromatic never looked so good
I love this room with the pop of yellow and the layered picture frames on the wall, I love it!!!
Now check this out, this room is so calm and relaxing looking I can see myself felling comfortable in this bedroom.
Lovely
What a nice little calming space to do your makeup.
Monochromatic Catwalk ~ walking the catwalk in mono tones never looked so good. When done well, fashion and interiors can have a unique richness about them even if there’s only one color~ the fashions up above are all done well with all the same colors but different shades and textures and not at all boring

How about weddings?~Check out this lovely wedding story board done by a designer who had a vision of ethereal little angels flitting among snowy white clouds which called for celebration that calls for a palette that’s as pure as the driven snow. This designer stuck with white, cream, and a few organic touches of green. Source stylenotes

Random Inspiration of Monochromatic

Beautiful Monochromatic bathroom
What an amazing demonstration of monochromatic art
I would love to have this on one of my walls ~flawless flow of monochromatic art

  • What do you think!!! Do monochromatic or one color design has to be boring?
  • Is there one color that you love so much that you can see in your home all throughout one room?

0 Bold Room Colors

Getting BOLD with it!

This is bold design at its best. The designer who designed this room went for the jugular and brought it home. When I was researching bold interiors I came across this lovely design done by panacheinteriors and boy was I impressed with this design. If you were afraid of going bold before. If nothing else I’m sure this room boosts your confidence.
Hmmm what should I say?? Getting stripy with it… WOW this designer wasn’t afraid at all taking two bold patterns and bringing them together to bring complimentary and interest this is bold gone wild!!! Love it. Done by designer Wendy Blount
If you were looking for a Bold date!! The color Orange would be your guy/girl because the color Orange most of the time screams Bold. This room (above) raves with the color orange or should I say Terra-Cotta + Peach the designer wasn’t at all afraid to use different shade of orange in this lovely room.
Give me the green light!!!  I would love to eat in this Beautiful Bold Green Dining room I’m ready to go right now. I got an obsession for this room. Green happens to be one of my favorite colors Give me the green light I’m ready to get
BOLD with it.

Should I say !!  I only want to see you in the Purple Rain
What a beautiful Modern bold purple room. This room is amazing !! The pattern blue wallpaper is peeking through with much authority but some how it  works with the purple curtains.. This room can rain purple on me all day.

The yellow art in this room is making a statement against these white walls
It shows intense contrast  done right. Love it !!!

LOVELY!!  If this isn't Bold I don't know what is, this is called color and pattern confidence by the client and amazing work by the designer. Room created by: Dana's design studio

So go ahead tell me what you think!! Are you ready to get BOLD with it? Come on and SCREAM  Bold with it and leave me a comment on this bold post.
